Privacy Policy
Squidgy Friends · last updated August 7, 2026
The short version
Squidgy Friends collects no personal data. There are no accounts,
advertisements, analytics or tracking. Gameplay stays private to your family,
and the Squidgy team cannot see a child's progress or activity.
The app
- No data collection. The app does not collect, store, or transmit
any personal information — not names, not photos, not voice, not location, not
device identifiers. Its App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected"
because that is the truth.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no way to
log in.
- No third-party anything. The app contains no advertising,
no analytics SDKs, and no third-party code that phones home.
- Private saves. Friends, care, outfits, worlds, stickers and
progress are saved on the device. When Apple iCloud syncing is available, a
small copy of gameplay progress may also be stored in the family's own iCloud
account so it can survive a reinstall or move to a new device. We cannot see
or access that information.
Children's privacy
Squidgy Friends is made for children aged 3 to 7, so we designed it to have nothing
to protect them from: because the app collects no data at all, it collects
no personal information from children.
The optional Squidgy Club subscription sits behind a parental gate and is
processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle any
payment details — Apple's own privacy
policy covers that transaction.
This website
squidgys.xyz sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. The
site is served by Cloudflare, whose infrastructure processes standard technical
logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse — see
Cloudflare's privacy
policy. We do not receive or review personal data from these logs.
Bug reports
If you send a bug report, we store what you type, basic device/browser
information, and your email address only if you choose to provide it. The report
is stored in Cloudflare D1 and emailed to the Squidgy team so we can investigate
and reply. If you provide an email, we also send an automatic confirmation so
you know the report arrived. We use this information only to fix the reported
problem.
Changes & contact
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature genuinely needs
some data — we will update this page and the date above before the change ships.
